First 4 Hours:

✔️ Remain upright – avoid lying down.
✔️ Avoid touching, rubbing, or applying pressure to the treated area.
✔️ Make gentle facial movements (raising eyebrows, frowning) to help the Botox settle evenly.

First 24 Hours:

✔️ Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and hot showers.
✔️ Do not apply makeup or active skincare products to the treated area, such as retinol and tretinoin, following treatment for 7 days.
✔️ Avoid alcohol & ibuprofen and excessive sun exposure.

First 48 Hours:

✔️ Refrain from facial massages, facials, or any other cosmetic treatments (at least up to 2 weeks).
✔️ Do not take blood-thinning medications (unless prescribed by a doctor) to reduce the risk of bruising.

What to Expect:

  • Mild redness, swelling, or small bumps at the injection site—this should subside within a few hours.

  • Some bruising is normal and will fade within a few days.

  • Botox results begin to show within 3-5 days, with full effects visible in up to 2 weeks.

To ensure the best results and a smooth healing process after your dermal filler treatment, please follow these important aftercare guidelines:

First 4 Hours:

✔️ Stay upright – do not lay on your face, especially if you had cheek or chin augmentation. - Avoid any actives on the skin, such as retinol and tretinoin, following treatment for 7 days
✔️ Avoid drinking through a straw if you had lip fillers.

First 24 Hours:

✔️ No strenuous exercise, excessive heat (saunas, hot showers), or alcohol.
✔️ Avoid makeup and skincare products on the treated area to prevent infection.

✔️Avoid alcohol and ibuprofen
✔️ Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

✔️use a clean pillowcase to avoid any risk of infections.

First 48 Hours:

✔️ Refrain from facial massages and sleeping on your face, use a clean pillowcase to avoid any risk of infections.
✔️ Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds.
✔️ Use a cold compress (if needed) to reduce swelling and bruising.

First Week:

✔️ If you had chin or cheek augmentation, sleep on your back with your head elevated to allow fillers to settle properly.
✔️ Avoid facial treatments like facials, chemical peels, or microneedling.

What to Expect:

  • Mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness are normal and should subside within a few days.

  • Fillers take up to 2 weeks to fully settle, so allow time for final results to appear. It is very normal for asymmetries to occur, please allow time for them to resolve.

First 24 Hours:

✔️ Gently blot the treated area with a clean tissue and boiled water (use warm water from the kettle) to remove excess lymph fluid.
✔️ Avoid touching, rubbing, or applying makeup to the area.
✔️ Do not get the area wet—this includes washing your face, sweating, or steam exposure, until fully healed- no scabbing is present.

Days 1-7:

✔️ Clean the area gently with a damp cotton pad if needed—do not scrub.
✔️ Apply a thin layer of the recommended healing balm (if provided).
✔️ Avoid excessive sun exposure, swimming, saunas, and sweating.
✔️ No facials, exfoliation, or skincare products on the treated area.

Healing Process:

  • Mild swelling, redness, and scabbing are normal—do not pick or scratch.

  • The color will appear darker for the first 5-7 days before softening as it heals.

  • Some fading and patchiness may occur; a touch-up session is recommended after 4-6 weeks.

Long-Term Care:

✔️ Use SPF daily to prevent fading.

✔️ Keep skin hydrated with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer.

First 3-7 Days:

✔️ Use SPF 50+ daily—your skin will be more sensitive to the sun.
✔️ Stay hydrated and use soothing, non-irritating skincare.
✔️ Expect mild redness, sensitivity, and possible flaking (especially with chemical peels and microneedling). Do not pick or peel the skin.
✔️ Avoid active ingredients like retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or strong vitamin C until your skin fully heals.

Healing & Results:

  • Dermaplaning: Skin feels instantly smoother and brighter. Mild redness may last a few hours.

  • Chemical Peel: Peeling starts around days 3-5 and may last a week. Skin will feel fresher and more even-toned after 10-14 days.

  • Microneedling: Redness and mild swelling last 24-48 hours, with full skin renewal visible in 4-6 weeks.
